Antler sheds

Antlers are like finger prints, there are no two alike. Yet they can grow small or they can grow big, it all depends on two factors Nutrition and Genetics. As far as nutrition it is very basic, the better they eat the more they will grow. As far as genetics it is like a pedigree dog, if Dad let’s say has royal blood than his son’s will have it as well. I will try to get more in depth with antler development at a later point so come back to visit and read on. For now here is a picture of four specific bucks from a deer farm where their antlers were studied for three to four years and you can see the difference from year to year.
