Town of Wilton approves Controlled Deer Hunt
Here is a perfect example of a town that feels hunting deer will help their community.
At a meeting this past Monday the board of selectmen approved a controlled deer hunt from October 1st. to January 31st.This will be the fifth year they have held a controlled deer hunt in Wilton. The town believes it is the best way to control the deer population in the area and help lower the number of car/deer collisions as well as the number of damage to local plants of town residents.

This is wonderful news…and an example that, in my opinion, should be followed by many…
