You are on the hunt of a lifetime and you accidentally touch your broadhead to your
string. You are taking your one-week of vacation to hunt with your friends and your buddy dryfires your bow. If there isn’t a bow shop within driving distance, your hunt is over – but not if you’re shooting an Elite bow. No matter where you are or what happened to your bow, Elite will send a bow to you at no charge the very next day so that you can finish your hunt. This bow is on loan from Elite Archery and not intended to replace your damaged bow. The loaner bow will arrive with the customers requested draw weight and length, with a rest, sight and peep installed. The bow will be tuned and ready to shoot. It will only need to be sighted in with the customer’s arrows.  If something happens to your bow while on your hunt, please call us at 877-503-5483 and ask for the warranty department. The bows must be returned to us in the condition that they were shipped with all accessories. The loaner bow must be sent using a shipping company that provides package tracking. Quality Deer Management Association Brings Programming to Pursuit in 2010

LUVERNE, Ala. – The Pursuit Channel proudly announces the addition of Quality Deer Management Association’s (QDMA) popular “Quality Whitetails Television” to the 2010 lineup beginning this January.

The QDMA has been the driving force for increasing awareness about sound whitetail management practices and safe, ethical hunting since its inception over 20 years ago.  Through its numerous partnerships with wildlife agencies, timber companies, industry manufacturers and hunting groups, the QDMA and their over 50,000 members have made quality deer management a household term among American deer hunters.

“Quality Whitetails Television” features one of the most innovative formats ever in outdoor television. It is a unique blend of deer biology, deer management and deer hunting brought to you by many of the nation’s leading whitetail experts: host Neil Dougherty, wildlife habitat consultant from New York, co-hosts Dr. Karl Miller, professor of Wildlife Management at the University of Georgia, Brian Murphy, Joe Hamilton and Kip Adams, all noted wildlife biologists with the QDMA. Each episode is dedicated to helping viewers achieve better deer and better deer hunting.

Pursuit has recently welcomed a wealth of leading producers to a dramatically upgraded 2010 lineup, which will now include QDMA.  Last month Mossy Oak announced its commitment of resources to branded, destination blocks of programming, anchored by their award-winning, popular programs.  Leading producers including Hank Parker, Keith Warren, the NWTF and many others have also committed to Pursuit.

“Pursuit’s focus on the outdoor lifestyle and hunting heritage makes it the perfect home for ‘Quality Whitetails Television,’ said Brian Murphy, QDMA CEO “Joining Mossy Oak’s unique ‘True North Wednesday’ block, dedicated to conservation, makes Pursuit a unique platform to educate and entertain viewers with the latest in QDM practices.”

Pursuit CEO Rusty Faulk said, “With more and more hunters interested in deer and habitat management, we are thrilled to have QDMA join Pursuit in 2010.  The incredible populations of quality whitetails we all enjoy today are due in no small part to the enormous efforts of organizations like QDMA.  We truly consider it a compliment to have them join us here at Pursuit.”

Founder and CEO of Mossy Oak, Toxey Haas added, “Growing stuff is among my most sincere obsessions.  Whether it’s a food plot, an oak seedling or a healthy deer population, it is a year-round addiction. The QDMA has been an immense source of information and education to feed that addiction.  Wildlife conservation is at the core of our brand, so the Mossy Oak team is delighted to have QDMA join us on Pursuit.”

The re-air of Quality Deer Management Association’s “Quality Whitetails Television” show will begin on Pursuit in January 2010.

Hosts Of The Backwoods Life In Fist Fight With Bone Collector Hosts

BY: MARK MURPHY OF WILD SPORTS MARKETING 7/19/2009

Fist Fight Erupts Between TV Show Hosts In LaGrange, GA

It just so happens that the hosts of The Backwoods Life on Pursuit Channel Michael Lee, Kevin Knighton, and Trey Wetherington decided to crash the Bone Collector appearance at the Southern Shooters Grand Opening Celebration in LaGrange, GA this past Friday afternoon.

Hosts Of The Backwoods Life Vs Hosts OF Bone Collector

Here’s a pic above of the tense standoff that ensued afterward. It looks as though Outdoor Channel personalities Michael Waddell, Travis T-Bone Turner, and Nick Mundt held their own against the other hosts. No word on whether the authorities were called to the store to break up the melee.

This incident could be the start of a rivalry between the 2 TV shows. Although it appears that the 2 groups ironed out their issues sometime afterward by the pic below.

LUVERNE, AL – Pursuit Channel today announced the addition of Mossy Oak Brand prime time programming and a dramatic increase in household delivery for 2010. The move solidifies Pursuit Channel as the most widely distributed, pure hunting and fishing television network.

Rusty Faulk, Pursuit Channel CEO said:

“Our goal with Pursuit Channel is and always will be to create a place that everyone in the industry can call home. We’re here for the good of the industry, for the good of outdoor traditions, and we’re here to stay. Mossy Oak’s tagline is, ‘It’s not a passion. It’s an obsession.’ I know the people at Mossy Oak and that’s true. Their contributions will be a great addition to our network’s ongoing growth. Our distribution, our content and our overall viewer appeal are all on the rise, and we’re looking forward to an exciting future.”

Pursuit Channel is the only outdoor network delivered in satellite provider DIRECTV’s BASIC package, channels received by every subscriber regardless of their level of service. The common thread in the outdoor industry is our obsession with spending time outside and passing that obsession on to others whether it be hunting, fishing or working the land. TV programming is the number one venue for us to share that love with the rest of the world. Our expanded commitment of resources here demonstrates this.”
