Thoughts
There is still nothing as peaceful to me as a sunrise. It’s as if the earth is waking up–God’s signal to start the day. Watching the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez left me with calm anticipation for each day. I wondered, “Well God, what do you have in store for me today? You have already graced me with a setting too beautiful to describe. My eyes are straining to take it all in and forge it into my memory.”

Even though I was full of excitement at what the day might bring–the things I would see and the fish I would catch–I was also aware of the peace that encompassed me. It was there to guard my heart and mind. In that moment, through Gods grace, I was at peace. (Jim C)

Action Point
No matter where you are, you have the opportunity to watch a sunrise. Take a minute and do so. Consider what is happening and just watch it. In most cases, a peace will come over you that can change the entire way you look at your day. The feeling will cause you to watch for more sunrises.

Sportsmen’s Tip of the Day

Always be aware; watch what’s going on around you. Baitfish jumping or diving birds can signal a feeding frenzy of schooling fish. If you watch for activity, it can be the key that unlocks the door to a very successful day.
