Spring Wildflowers in the Western Parks

It’s the time of year, when, if we’ve had a good, wet winter, that the western parks begin to flaunt their spring finery!

Death Valley is one of the premier wildflower spots, and they post a newsletter with the best spots to view the blooms here

Here’s a list of what’s blooming right now in the Santa Monica Mountains, near Los Angeles. 

And here’s a list of what’s bloomin’ in the Mohave Desert.
