I spooked this Pronghorn up when I was moving in to get a better look at some Bison that were nearby. She exploded out of a draw right in front of me as I approached the edge and passed within 20 feet of me. I wasn’t quick enough to capture her when she was that close but I did get on her quickly as she bound towards the road. The other image that is burned into my mind was my wife making a bee line for the car to get away from this wild pronghorn. Travels with a photographer are almost never dull.
