Certainly one of the highlights of the trip was a close encounter with a wolf inside of Denali National Park.  Only a mile or so back we had seen a wolf sitting well off the road on what biologists told us was a den.  It was hard to tell what it was without a spotting [...]

Ram bachelor group  that we came across in Denali National Park.  Dall Sheep was a lot easier to find inside of Denali then I would of thought.  More info on Dall Sheep from Alaska Fish & Game.

Alaska has a good population of Bald Eagles and although we saw a number the opportunities to photograph them elude me.  One of the view Bald Eagle photos I got.  This photo was taken from a boat while we toured  Kenai Fjords National Park.

Alaska was a spectacular trip I took 4 years ago and if I could I leave today to go back.  If you ever get the chance to go you should go because the sights are just breathtaking.  Over the next little bit, if you’ll indulge me, I plan to relive the experience  with a collection [...]
