See earlier photo and you’ll see why a lot of reports of cougar sightings may really be just large bobcats.  I don’t doubt that we may have cougars in the wild but I think some reports are other critters besides cougars.

Lots of reports of cougar sightings are based on the cat having a long tail.  Here is a cat I photographed what is it a cougar or a bobcat?
