All City Animal Trapping removes nuisance wildlife in Los Angeles California with a delicate hand. Often using the animals natural movements against them, we are much more than trappers, we are wildlife professionals. Although we do trap urban wildlife from time to time, we use the most humane and effective methods.

Wildlife in Los Angeles can cause illness in humans, cause flea infestations, physical damage to property, and become an immediate threat to the safety of you or your family. Skunks, raccoons, and coyotes are just a few species we typically work with on an every day basis. But we also handle bird control issues, stray cat colonies, squirrel control, and rat infestations.

We rescue orphaned wildlife, and find qualified facilitators to rehabilitate and finish raising the animal. We get calls all the time from people with baby raccoons living in the attic, and they cause quite a racket at night. Most clients in such a case haven’t had much sleep in the past few days, and have a tired look about them. Our methods normally show resolution within 24 hours. Raccoons are mainly nocturnal animals, so humans and animals have conflicting schedules.
Mole and gopher control in Los Angeles is a Gift from God to any landscaper or gardener. Without proper control of these burrowing pests, a lawn or garden can be completely destroyed on weeks. Our men and women in the area can eliminate the animals doing the damage. We will do it quickly and discretely.
Our Los Angeles Office also repairs damages caused to your home by wildlife. This can be anything from patching a hole made by an animal in the roof, or removing and replacing the contaminated insulation in the attic after the animal issue itself has been resolved. Our representatives in Los Angeles have an intensive background in construction and home repair. We can even make the smell of a skunk go away so your neighbors wont be offended, and you wont even know it was there.
So if you have a need for wildlife control in Los Angeles, look no further, All City Animal Trapping is there for you, and there is no job too big or small.

We service the following cities in Los Angeles County:
Agoura Hills, Alhambra, Arcadia, Artesia, Avalon, Azusa,Baldwin Park, Bell, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Beverly Hills, Bradbury, Brentwood, Burbank, Calabasas, Carson, Cerritos, Claremont, Commerce, Compton, Covina, Cudahy, Culver City, Diamond Bar,Downey, Duarte, El Monte, El Segundo, Gardena, Glendale, Glendora, Hawaiian Gardens, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Hidden Hills, Huntington Park, Industry, Inglewood, Irwindale, La Canada Flintridge, La Mirada, La Puente, La Verne, Lakewood, Lancaster, Lawndale, Lomita, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Lynwood, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Maywood, Monrovia, Montebello, Monterey Park, Norwalk, Palmdale, Palos Verdes Estates, Paramount, Pasadena, Pico Rivera, Pomona, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, Rosemead, San Dimas, San Fernando, San Gabriel, San Marino, Santa Clarita, Santa FE Springs, Santa Monica, Sierra Madre, Signal Hill, South El Monte, South Gate, South Pasadena, Temple City, Thousand Oaks, Torrance, Vernon, Walnut, West Covina, West Hollywood, Westlake Village, Whittier

Hunting Wolves: An Ancient Mongolian Answer-Golden Eagles

Eagle Hunting, one of the most dramatic and primal relationships between man and beast is alive and well in the remote mountains of western Mongolia. Falconry developed in Central Asia and for centuries, Kazakh men have hunted from horseback with trained golden eagles, the largest and most powerful of raptors. Fox, rabbit and wolf are hunted for their fur and for the challenge they present.

I want to thank Mike Page, of Above and Beyond Wildlife Control, serving Hernando, Citrus, Sumter and Lake Counties in Florida for bringing this beautiful movie to my attention.

    Skunks, Sex & Violence

    Skunks, Sex & Violence
    by Robert H. Evans, CWCP

One of truths of journalism is that violence and sex both get the
readers attention. Well if that is right this should be a well read piece? As it
will cover both! So be warned!

With the warm spell that we experienced just before Christmas the skunk
breeding cycle started? My phone started to ring with inquires about skunks.
People were getting that rank odor from under their porches and decks and wanted
to know why and could we get rid of it. The short answer was yes! Trapping the
offending animal would over time cause the animal smell to go way but the
    problem will continue?

As the spring nears many of the animal populations are coming into their
breeding cycle. Skunks breed once a year unlike humans. This event is all
important too the survival of the species, just think if we could only do this
once every year and how it would effect our behavior?

Coyote Control Is A Community Problem

    Coyote Control Is Community  Problem
by Mike Flick, Los Angeles Animal Control.com

Coyotes are an increasing danger in many communities. However the cost of coyote removal makes it so the average home owner is forced to live with the problem, and fear for the safety of pets and family. I’ve had a stretch of calls like this and came up with a plan of attack which providesaffordable service to anyone, without loosing money on the job. As a result, I closed nearly every deal since then, and came out of it looking like the neighborhood hero.

Coyotes have a large range, so chances are that if they affected one persons property, then there neighbors are probably just as concerned about the issue as well, and on down the line. So what I offer is a couple of different rates. I have the person who found our telephone number contact everyone on the street they live on and limit the number of properties I will service. Then I charge more than I would for one property, but nowhere near what I would charge for ten. This gets the block involved, which makes them all feel involved in the problem, and they can share the cost. You can have a meeting in the cull de sac to make sure all safety guidelines and company policies are understood prior to any set ups.

Due to the complexities and need to change tactics while coyote trapping, I can’t rely upon a client to call in a catch report. I need to check the traps myself, every day. This is where it gets expensive. Maintaining a work truck and keeping fuel topped off isn’t cheap. But if you were going that way for one job at a set price, then why not do the whole neighborhood at basically the same cost to you?

It’s a win-win all around! For information on finding a coyote trapper in your area please visit http://findthewildlifepro.com

    Nick Pallo Before The Accident

    Nick Pallo Before The Accident

Earlier this month Skinny Moose Announced the tragic hunting accident that occurred on Dec 17, 2009 in central New York. The Wildlife Pro Network, Ny Trappers organization and several other hunting and trapping groups gathered together to help his family in need.

Our own on site auction yielded $1260 on The Wildlife Pro Network and efforts since his accident has raised over $5000 to date by various groups. Nick is now able to put some food on the table, pay a few deductibles
and is grateful for everyone’s efforts.

He shared the following with me yesterday.

    Thanks To Everyone

Thank you to everyone involved in the benefit auction. My family and I cannot express how much we appreciate all that you have done for us. The support we have received has been amazing! The hunting/trapping/outdoor community is an awesome network of friends that I am proud to be a part of and consider them like family. Thanks again! Take care and God bless!

A Little About The Wildlife Pro Podcasts

If you have wondered about podcasts let me start out with some of the basics for sake of a definition of a podcast I will reference wikipedia.com :

“A podcast is a series of audio or video digital-media files which is distributed over the Internet by syndicated download, through Web feeds, to portable media players and personal computers. Though the same content may also be made available by direct download or streaming, a podcast is distinguished from other digital-media formats by its ability to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added. Like the term broadcast, podcast can refer either to the series of content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also called podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster.

I am essentially a podcaster and have had nearly a year and over 12,ooo minutes of programs recorded but its not all yours truly talking . I produce the shows and invite guests to keep new information new and interesting. This works best and stops the shows from being stagnant and listeners to remember to tune in again and keep on listening to our shows.

We have done podcasts now since the 3rd week in March 2008. Along the way we have learned to plan them better and eliminate unwanted background noise. In the beginning it was more about just getting up on air then actually working on content in fact we did several weeks of just interviewing others well known in the wildlife control industry but the passion to simply go on with my fellow controllers went away quickly. Today’s podcast model is to invite guests to discuss topics they are comfortable with and always encourage our listeners or “audio streamers” to pick up the phone and join in.Every show is now prepped, and invloves alot of time getting the research together to get the content right for every show.

We then did some experiments of inviting some friends to do their own podcasts under a network banner. Some of those interviews brought on by these other hosts I was able to meet fellow skinny moose bloggers like John Stabley, Sarrah Knapp and Holister Delong.

One of our more interesting shows was under the Moniker America’s Frugal Sportsmen entitled “The Ladies From Camospace ” and stirred up a lot of interest from women on wrong fitting clothing, trying to use bows designed for men with longer arms and no clothing designed to relieve themselves respectfully in the woods. Clearly there is indeed a market out there and a lot of room for manufacturers to do ab better job of putting out products for women in general.

Some of my more favorite podcasts involve instruction on capturing live swarms of bees as a add on business service and featured my good friend Bob Evans of Madison, New York. Here is one of his videos to visualize the concept of catching live bees. This is one of four videos  also featured on The Wildlife Pro Network that Bob has made and shared with our members.

For those interested in learning more about the wildlife control industry I recommend(Just click on and listen to any of the following)  Starting Up A NWCO Business,   Treating Wildlife Control As A Business, The NWCO Guys- Feral Cats, Nuisance Bird Calls, Dead Animal Calls & Pricing, The NWCO Guys -Insurance, Bat Clean Ups Wildlife Diseases, & ADC Predator Control & Calling.

Along the way we have learned more then our fair show about the habits of Squirrels from Ron Jones, and the title of his first show was very fitting Meet The Squirrel Man, and the Squirrel Man Returns. Pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about squirrels and how to develop an attack plan on ridding them from homes & business’s. Interested in learning about skunks, beavers, and lets not forget armadillos.

For outdoors enthusiasts we have got together to talk about Gator Hunting & Trapping, Coon Dogs & Hunting, Hog Trapping, Snaring Hogs By The Numbers, Hunting Black Bear and every trappers favorite Newt Sterling on Snaring.

In short I have shared some of our now 84 podcasts here, all of them deserve the credit of many of my good friends and together we have become to be known as The Wildlife Pro Network.

Night Time Predator Hunting & Calling Podcast

This last Sunday, The Wildlife Pro Network began its 2009 year  with a big bang and in grand style. We are indeed greatful for all the efforts made by the entire Skinny Moose Media network for its overall success on getting our message out.

The show proved to very informative and I was thankful knowing who was actually help putting the show together, my co-hosts  Brent Saxton of Kees Productions & Ron Jones,  of Rednecks Pride Game Calls/Outdoor Scents . I feel many learned the ins and outs of Hunting safety, planning a safe hunt, and got nearly two hours of tips and techniques on Predator Hunting & Calling.

The show was produced in two basic parts announcing  our own efforts on helping a fellow hunter & trapper Nick Pallo who was seriously injured in a hunting accident in Central new York on 17 Dec 2009. Nick was my special guestand he had the opportunity to rehash that night and offer his own recommendations on how to prevent such an accident from re-occuring again and his lessons learned are a reminder that not all bullets come gfrom third parties and that no matter how many times you and a buddy hunt together it is always necessary to talk the hunt together and cover everything to not get hit by friendly fire.

I have Sunday Nights Podcast up in two parts and was able to get some editing done and it now easily fits on two CDR’s. Appreciate the chance to work with many of you helping Nick out. Nick starts out the show with his lessons learned and he should make a good hunting safetyinstructor someday, but I expect he will go farther once he gets his
    health back.

Ron Jones, Brent Saxton, Nick Pallo and Al LaFrance contributed to most of the information and many others. Hunting Safety, Tips on Game Calling , Why To Use Scents and of course lots of pointers on how to to conduct a safe night time predator hunt.
