I served with the 2nd Armored Cavalry back in 1977-1979 and it was my first assignment performing border reconnaissance and learning the basics of soldiering. The 2ACR is America’s oldest continuously serving Cavalry Regiment and has a great history to be proud of since its inception during the Seminole Indian Wars right here in my own part of Florida to the Gulf wars in the Middle East today.

Saddle up and get ready to ride back through history with America’s oldest continuously serving Cavalry Regiment. After surveying our hallowed halls, you too will understand the pride that is shared among those that served and those that continue to serve the Regiment in outposts around the world. The Second Regiment of Dragoons have withstood the test of time, and will continue to be an integral part of the U.S. military structure well into the future. We are, after all,
    TOUJOURS PRET – ALWAYS READY!

    The Gratitude Campaign

Have you ever seen one of our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren’t sure how or it felt awkward?

Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and has started a movement to get the word out.

Please everybody take just a moment to watch…. The Gratitude Campaign; ……and then forward it to your friends! THEN START USING THE SIGN.
