BAT REMOVAL
A big part of his summer business involves bats. Adam is not a big fan of hearing of folks trying to kill bats inorder to remove them. Adam alkso adds it is also illegal and the fines both local and federal can be excessive. Adam adds “The best way to get rid of bats is to identify major entry and exit points and use special bat excluders or one way valves to let the bats out and not to return. Biggest problem is timing since sealing off a home and putting on excluders too early can cause young bats that can not fly to be separated from their mothers and end up dying from lack of food and water. Imagine the smell of 80 dead baby bats in a ttic and spread allover your home. Timing is everything if you want to get rid of bats the right way”.
