22,000 death toll from Cyclone ~

Posted by Mea on May 6, 2008

I can not even concieve what 22,000 dead men women and children could or would be like. 41,000 people missing as of the lastest report in Yangon, Myanmar from this past Saturday’s even.  The country once known as Burma (for us older than some folks ).

How sad that officals who were orginally watching the cyclone out on the ocean who saw no reason for concern for the people of their country now to have to deal with all this destruction. I can’t even imagine how they could possibly be feeling. Or did they too die in the mess of this event? Families separated, not knowing or even when they do find out that part of even most of their family is gone. Unbelieveable heart ache and pain.

You know… God is going to get the blame too. SO human of us to always turn and blame the King of Everything for allowing such pain into our lives. Even people we don’t know personally..we are all still people.  These poor hurting people, my heart breaks.

This country is also of the habit of not allowing outside help in. Hopefully this time the aid that is ready and willing and just right there to the taking will be allowed in for these in need.

We can only pray for them and pray they take the help waiting.

The death toll is rising.. and all this reminds me of how the ‘end times’ will affect the world. It will be much worst as millions of people will be missing and those left behind will be hurting orginally for thier loved ones who are now gone without a trace. Then what we read in the book of Revelation starts happening~ man I tell ya. The perfect set up for the anti-christ to come in with his false peace.

Glad God isn’t going to allow us as CHristians to be a part of the real horror.

be praying dear ones
