Here in the wonderful state of Missouri, we have had more than what seems to be our share of rain! While it is indeed delightful that we now have mud to clean off our shoes and flooring after each visit outside, the jungle growing out back is even MORE enjoyable!

With gas prices the way they are, and continuing to soar regardless of our best efforts to cut down consumption, lets let that grass grow for a while. I think my older brother was complaining of not having enjoy hay to feed and use for his cows. Maybe we could all claim our tall tall grass as a second income when city inspectors come knocking at the door with their lovely grass rulers.  We could claim our new position on the grass growing so nicely and even show some bailing twine to them as our proof!

Its expensive to cut grass and expensive to not! Besides, the shaggy look for lawns isn’t popular right now. Make the neighbors mad. Hey..when they come over to complain and throw eggs at our house, maybe they will trample enough of the grass so we could enjoy of game of ‘explorer’ or even make us a maze to get lost in. Or maybe the city inspector could get lost long enough to decide to leave us alone!

We could always claim prairie grass is growing (I know.. spelt that word..)

otherwise …wave at me when you drive by today and tomorrow…I’ll be out cutting the grass in the yard~
