New Lawsuit against Pledge of Allegiance

From America Center for Law and Justic ~

New Lawsuit on Pledge of Allegiance
This morning we began working on a new piece of litigation that’s been filed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation against the Congress of the United States of America and a school district in New Hampshire.  The case involves another challenge to the Pledge of Allegiance, specifically because of its reference to the phrase “under God.”  Michael Newdow, who brought the previous suit to the Supreme Court regarding the Pledge of Allegiance, is serving as the legal counsel in this case.  In the lawsuit, the Plaintiffs assert that since the school district has their teachers lead the public school students in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance during school hours—including “the purely religious claim that we are one nation under God”—the Plaintiffs feel that this is a violation of the Constitution.

This is getting so old! This Newdow fellow is not going to be happy until he gets the words In God we trust off the money, and off all government office buildings!

How is it that one or two can keeping tying up our courts trying to change our country in such a manner. What happened to tolerance? He can choose not to believe in God (pray for this man) - its his right. God given right.

Not a smart move, but its allowed as all humans are given the same choice.

They too pay for their choice, like it or not. Removing part of the pledge will not save this man from facing God one day. Could be soon Michael~

Repent..for that day draws closer with each breath.
